The sweetest little Dorothy

I had a bit of trouble trying to figure this out. I hope it works okay. Well, I was not sure was to discuss so I thought I would share my daughters exciting news. Saturday was OZfest as many already know. On Friday we went to see the play The Wizard of Oz that was put on by SCCC. It was absolutely fabulous. It was there we learned about the Dorothy look alike contest that was on Saturday. It just so happens that we already had the costume because it is what she begged to be for Halloween. So, grandma and I decided we would take her to the contest. We got up Saturday morning, got her ready, and headed off to the contest. It was freezing cold and was raining and at times sleeting and snowing but we continued on because this little girl had her heart set on it. We got there and they had a tent set up that they held everything in. Thank goodness we did not sit outside but it was still very cold. They called for all the Dorothy's to go up front. She stood up there shy and a little scared but was the cutest thing you ever saw. When they announced the winners her face lit up. She won first place! This absolutely made my little girls day. She cannot stop talking about it.
